Most people know the shape of the bed they want before anything else. Start there.

Our four best sellers this season, in the sizes and fabrics most often chosen.
Ottoman storage
Gas struts lift the whole base on one hand, and hold it there. Underneath is the full footprint of the bed — deep enough for a winter duvet, spare pillows, a suitcase and the Christmas decorations, all out of sight and off the floor.
It is the single best-value square metre in a British bedroom, and it costs about the same as the drawers it replaces.

How it is made
A ComfortCrest bed is not flat-packed in a factory and shipped from a warehouse. It is cut, sprung, upholstered and finished by the same small team, in the same workshop, for one order at a time.
That is why we can guarantee the frame for ten years — and why we are happy to tell you exactly what is inside it.
Kiln-dried hardwood, corner-blocked and screwed rather than stapled. It is the part nobody sees, and the reason the bed does not creak in year three.
Sprung slats on flexible beech, not a flat board. They take the load off the mattress and add years to it.
High-density foam over the frame, then fabric cut, pinned and hand-finished on the piece itself. Every seam is pulled true by hand.
Legs turned and stained to match, fixings bagged and labelled, and the whole bed checked over by the person who made it before it is wrapped.

Getting it to you
Two people, a booked slot, and the bed carried to the room you want it in.
Day 1
We confirm your size and fabric by email the same working day, so nothing is cut until you have checked it.
Week 1–2
Your frame is cut, sprung and upholstered to order in our workshop. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting.
Week 2
We call to agree a delivery day and give you a two-hour window the night before.
Delivery day
Two people bring it to your room of choice, assemble it, and take every scrap of packaging away with them.
Free delivery to most of mainland UK. Some Scottish highland, island and Northern Ireland postcodes carry a surcharge, shown at checkout before you pay.
Before you order
If yours is not here, our team answers the phone in the workshop, not a call centre.
Every bed is made to order, so allow around 14 working days from the day you order to the day it arrives. We call to book a delivery slot once your frame is finished, and give you a two-hour window the night before.
Yes. Two people deliver every bed to the room of your choice, assemble it, and take all the packaging away with them. Please measure your stairs and doorways first — the size guide on this page lists the space each bed needs.
Please do. We post up to six swatches first class, free, with no obligation. Colours read differently on a screen than they do on your wall, and this is the one part of the decision a photograph cannot make for you.
Ten years on the frame against manufacturing defects, and two years on moving parts such as ottoman gas struts. It covers the things we control — joints, timber and workmanship — rather than accidental damage or ordinary wear on the fabric.
If it is a standard UK size, yes. Every ComfortCrest bed is built to the UK sizes listed above, so a UK Double mattress fits a UK Double frame. European and American sizes differ — measure yours before ordering.
Beds in our standard fabrics can be returned within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Because each bed is made to your order, please tell us as soon as you can — and note that a bed made in a bespoke fabric you supplied cannot be resold, so it is excluded.
Free, first class, no obligation
We will post up to six swatches to your door. You will also be first to hear when a new design leaves the workshop — and we email rarely.
